We haven’t posted anything to our blog in awhile and for this we apologize.

Our first Advisory Board meeting of 2012 is January 23 at 7:00 at The Health Place in Stanley. We are always looking for new members, so feel free to join us this evening. A copy of tonight’s agenda can be found here.

Healthy Families also has a wonderful new resource for parents – the Healthy Families Parents Page. This newsletter has parenting tips, craft ideas, and a list of community events. The December 2011 issue can be found here. We’ll keep these archived so you can refer to them throughout the year.

In the meantime, we wish you a happy – and healthy – new year!

A great time was had by all who attended 2009′s Fall Fling and we raised money for a very good cause.

We want to thank all of the event volunteers and, of course, to those businesses and individuals who donated items/services for our silent auction.

And we can’t forget to mention the wonderful Jump Alley! Thank you, again, for a great evening’s entertainment.

Jump back in time as we celebrate the 1930′s and 40′s with our second annual Fall Fling fundraiser.Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the Luray Moose Lodge (257 Dry Run Road).  Doors Open at 7:00 PM with a Dance Lesson at 7:30 PM.  Music and dancing with Jump Alley will begin at 8:00. There will be door prizes and a silent auction. Keep checking in with our web site to see our growing list of auction items. We will also have snacks and soda on hand.  Admission is $20 per person and tickets can be purchased from any of our advisory board members or by calling  540-778-4061. See you there!
